Hello everyone!
Most of you know I am back in the states. It has been almost 1 month since I stepped off the plane at Hartsfield Jackson International Airport in Atlanta. I have some updates after coming home!
Starting off coming home was difficult. We had 1 week of our “final debrief” before we headed to our home states. I cried having to leave the people I lived alongside for the past year. It was so difficult because there is this special bond that you have with these people. You learn to go through the highs and the lows with them. They are your family. They have seen you at your best and they have definitely seen you at your worst. I know that even decades from now that bond will be the same. If I were to run into someone again, I know it would be like years hadn’t passed. It would be almost as if we were right where we left off. It’s amazing how important and life changing community is in our lives. In the body of believers especially. Right now I’m sitting at a kitchen table where I’m staying in Greenville, SC. It’s the place I left from to go overseas, and it’s the place I find myself back in again. Finishing where I started? I guess I can say that.
EXCITING UPDATE:
While I was overseas, God was stirring things in me with the heart HE gave me for missions overseas. The EXCITING UPDATE! I’m going back to Batumi, Georgia. God has opened every door wide open to go back overseas again! I will be walking by faith each day as I go back over and being led by The Holy Spirit each day! A place that God broke my heart for along with Ukraine!
I will be serving in Youth Ministry/Young Adults Ministry, Discipleship, and getting the beautiful gift from God to show HIS love and glory each step I take! Please keep me in your prayers. PRAYER REQUESTS and AWESOME UPDATE:
****I want to share a huge praise with you all from my time with my friends Daniel and John on Saturday. God led us to this man named Tim sitting outside an Old Navy. Tim has had a difficult life. He has a lot of health problems. We had the God given opportunity to share the gospel with him. It was only God that we were there. It’s a long crazy story. Because we were going to go somewhere else but Daniel had this urge from the Holy Spirit to go to this shopping center in a nearby small town instead. We met Tim and got to get to know him! Tim gave his life to Jesus on Saturday! Please pray for him and his health!!!! Glory to God!****
